Statement
The inspiration behind the F/W 2014 collection came from the various roles that Chess pieces were based upon, mixed in with little hints of Japanese street fashion. I did research into the various roles in society that a pawn would represent.

Inspiration
I thought what pawns could look like in the lens of this fashion collection. The more glamorous pieces were inspired by the more powerful pieces on a chess board, such as the Knight, the Bishop, and the Queen.

Showcase
This collection was showcased at the Metropolitan Emerging Designers & indie Artists Showcase as part of DC Fashion Week.
